International delivery date calculator

Pick an origin, a destination, a ship date and transit days. We count only days that are business days in both countries, and show you every skipped day and why.

Advanced options

If your booking is after the cutoff, the shipment rolls to the next business day.

How the estimate works

  1. Mutual business days. A transit day only counts when the day is a business day in both the origin and destination country — not a weekend or public holiday in either.
  2. Country-aware weekends. Not every country rests Saturday–Sunday. Saudi Arabia and the UAE observe Friday–Saturday, Iran Thursday–Friday, Brunei Friday–Sunday.
  3. Shipping cutoffs. Book after the carrier's daily cutoff and the shipment rolls to the next mutual business day.
  4. Honest limits. This is a calendar-based estimate. It cannot see weather, customs inspections, strikes, or how a specific carrier performs on your lane.

Frequently asked questions

How do you calculate a delivery date across countries?

Start from the ship date, count the carrier's quoted transit days in business days, and skip any day that is a weekend or public holiday in either the origin or destination country. The calculator above does this automatically and shows a day-by-day trace so you can audit every skipped day.

Do public holidays delay international shipping?

Yes. A transit day landing on a public holiday in the origin country means no pickup; in the destination country it can mean no delivery or no customs clearance. Lanes with different weekend conventions — for example the US (Saturday–Sunday) to Saudi Arabia (Friday–Saturday) — lose extra days to the mismatch.

Does the ship day itself count as a transit day?

It depends on the carrier's convention. Most carriers start counting the next business day after pickup. The calculator defaults to that convention and lets you switch to counting the ship day as day 1 under advanced options.

Is this the same as a carrier's delivery prediction?

No. Carriers combine calendar math with operational data — network congestion, customs history, seasonal load. This tool gives you the calendar baseline so you can sanity-check carrier quotes and set customer expectations honestly.
