Privacy notice
Plain-language summary of what this site collects and what happens to it. Last updated: October 2026.
Using the calculator
Calculations run entirely in your browser. The origin, destination, dates, and transit days you enter are never sent to any server by the calculator itself.
Analytics (cookieless)
We count anonymous usage events so we can tell whether this tool is useful — for example, that a calculation completed for a US-to-Germany lane, or that the API docs page was opened. Events contain country codes and counts only: no names, no emails, no free-text input, no advertising identifiers, and no cookies. We do not use third-party trackers.
"Notify me at launch" form
If you choose to fill in the interest form, we collect exactly four things:
- your work email address,
- your company name,
- your estimated monthly international shipment volume (a range you select),
- what you would integrate with (a category you select).
We use this only to understand demand and, if we launch the API, to email you once about it. We will not add you to a marketing list, we will not call you, we will not sell or share your details with anyone, and we will not send unsolicited marketing.
Who can see your details
Only the site operator (LeftSock Labs). Form submissions are stored on our own infrastructure and are never exposed through public pages, client-side code, or analytics.
Retention and deletion
Form submissions and analytics records are automatically deleted 90 days after they are recorded. If you want your details deleted sooner, email colby@leftsocklabs.com from the address you used and we will delete them. There is no account to manage because we do not create accounts.
Security
Submissions are rate-limited and validated server-side. Access to stored submissions requires a private credential held only by the operator.
Changes
If this notice changes materially, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
